
Franchize Directions was proud to bring Greg Nathan to South Africa in October 2009.
Greg Nathan is internationally regarded as a foremost expert on the people issues in franchising. He has written several popular books on the practical aspects of managing and leading a franchise system including Profitable Partnerships. Greg is a registered psychologist and Managing Director of the Franchise Relationships Institute. It was established to help franchisors better manage the people issues in their franchise systems, particularly their relationships with their franchisees. To this end the Institute offers a range of publications, training programmes and management tools, developed from its ongoing research into the factors that influence franchisee and franchisor success.
The Franchise Relationships Institute services thousands of franchise systems from all over the world that draw on its products, services and expertise. Franchize Directions are very proud to have such strong ties with the Franchise Relationships Institute and to have the honour of the sole licensed rights in South Africa to use and distribute Greg Nathan’s material. In 2010 this will include exciting launches such as the Nathan Profiler, an online tool that manages the franchisee recruitment process.
Over 80 of the top Franchisor Management personnel in South Africa took the opportunity to learn more from Greg first hand over the two days at the Franchize Directions’ “Profitable Partnerships Boot Camp” held at Montecasino. Greg not only covered relationship issues and understanding franchisees but also imparted practical knowledge on how to run conferences and employ the “Group Scoop” method. Highlights of the two days included an explanation on his world renowned “E-Factor” and the tricks to creating a healthy and happy franchise culture. The networking amongst the Franchisors was extremely valuable as they all swopped tips on how to deal with franchisees and improve their franchise systems.
