FRANCHISE NETWORKING BREAKFASTS

The networking forum is a concept imported from Australia, which has been brought to South Africa by Franchize Directions.  Elana Koral, of Franchize Directions, initiated this concept to allow franchisors to learn from each other in a structured forum.  High caliber franchisors from diverse industries get together to share frustrations, success stories, what works for them (and what does not) in a constructive, open fashion.   Each network forum has a theme of a pertinent nature, such as support services offered by franchisors, BEE issues in franchising, best practices in recruiting and selecting franchisees etc.

These forums are held once every two months.  Franchize Directions conducts a presentation on the best practices regarding the topic at hand.  We then introduce a panel of high profiled franchisors/experts in the industry who share their own experiences with the audience.  We close the morning with workshopping between franchisors at each table where issues relating to the topic are discussed.

Theses forums have proved to be highly successful and well attended by franchisors.  It is in the true spirit of franchising where honesty, openness and transparency are the key features of a successful franchisor.  Franchize Directions trusts that initiatives such as these will assist in taking the franchising industry to new heights in South Africa.

The event is currently sponsored by Standard Bank and thus there is no cost for Franchisors who wish to attend.
