We recognize the enormous need for education and skills transfer in the franchise and retail sector, and have developed the first recognized South African qualification in Franchising.

Our Franchise training programme is accredited by the Da Vinci Institute.

It is aimed at senior and middle franchisor management, new and existing franchisees as well as small business owners who are considering franchising their business.

We provide extensive training to both franchisors and franchisees on franchise-specific skills and knowledge as well as general business management.

Faculty of Franchising	The Da Vinci Institute for Technology Management is an accredited higher-education provider, registered with the Council for Higher Education, and offering short courses, as well as accredited Certificate, Diploma, Masters and PhD qualifications. Our particular focus is on workplace relevance.

The two organisations have developed a learning programme that involves leveraging each other's distribution footprint to support the franchise and retails sectors.

 The Franchise Certificate Programme

If I just complete the Franchise Management or Franchisee Fundamentals?

• You will get 60 credits towards the full certificate in franchising
• You will get a Short Course Certificate in Franchise Fundamentals or Franchise Management accredited by the Da Vinci Institute. This is provided that you complete the assessment within six months of attending the programme.

The Assessment
There are no examinations! However, you will be required to complete a Critical Review Assignment and a PowerPoint Presentation within six months of attending the programme for evaluation and grading.

If I go on to complete the full certificate?

Full Certificate Qualification in the domain of Franchising

• You will be required to complete the TIPS modules facilitated by the Da Vinci Institute.
• You will be presented with  a Certificate in the Management of Technology and Innovation in the domain of Franchising
• You will be presented with this certification at the Da Vinci Institute graduation ceremony.
